Grades 6 - 12

At Floyd UMC, our students are a vital part of our congregation. They share their gifts with us in so many ways and in turn, we create a safe, trustful, and fun environment to cultivate friendships and faith. As our present and our future, our students are essential to our church life. All students are invited to be a part of the awesome community that is Impact Students. No matter where you are in your journey, there is a place for you here. We learn, worship, serve, and hang out. Come be a part!

Be.

Our ministry invites teens to be themselves in a community that supports them. Our hope is that as they find their identity, they ultimately see themselves as followers of Jesus Christ.

Grow.

We invite students to grow in their faith and understanding of the scriptures. Our six-year curriculum plan covers every book of the Bible as well as engages real life topics.

Live.

Students are invited to live out their faith through a variety of mission and service projects. From local trips to global mission, teens will live out their faith while inviting others to find eternal life in Christ.

Resurrection

Our yearly winter retreat to Pigeon Forge, TN, Resurrection is an event filled with worship and spiritual growth attended by over 12,000 youth each year. This event is sponsored by the Holston Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church.

Summer Camp

at Camp Dickenson

Summer camp is a great time for students to grow in their faith while having fun in God’s creation. Camp Dickenson is a Christian camping experience in Fries, Virginia, and our church offers discounts for students from our congregation to attend.

We take safety seriously.

All of our staff and volunteers go through a background check and a training process before serving.
